What is lithotripsy?
Instructions for patients having lithotripsy:
- Arrive 90 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
- Arrange for a responsible adult to pick you up after your procedure.
Location of lithotripsy procedures:
Outpatient Urology Department – Lithotripsy Unit (basement level of main hospital)

Details:
- Most patients will need intravenous medication during the procedure.
- A nurse will call you approximately 2 weeks before your procedure to go over important instructions.
